正要赶往伦敦完婚的凯莉（Margaret Lockwood）因雪崩被困在山下的小旅馆里，偶遇摄影记者康德（Michael Redgrave），两个人因小事发生争执，第二天大家各自赶路，却登上了同一列火车。　　在车上凯莉与一名老妇人佛洛伊（Dame May Whitty）结伴，彼此照料。然而凯莉因头部被撞，恍惚中沉沉睡去，待她醒来，老妇人不见了。四处寻找佛洛伊，却不见她的踪影，凯莉只好报警。出乎意料的是同车厢的每个人都说没见过什么老妇人，陷入困惑的凯莉再次遇到康德。康德相信凯莉，也感到事有蹊跷，两人渐渐和好，一起展开了调查。

甚少有电影提到二次大战美国的亚洲人集中营的事。本片就是少数中的少数，透过美国人和亚洲人的眼同时看见历史上的痛。一九三0年代，在纽约工会组织工作杰克（丹尼斯·奎德饰），有天在一桩爆炸案发生后，发现自己一直相信工会，其实也不一定全是对的。于是他离开美国东岸，来到洛杉矶。一名住在小日本区的日本妇人收留了他，让他在她的店里工作，这时杰克对她的女儿莉莉一见钟情，两人长久相处下，决定结婚，但当时加州的法律对于异族婚姻有相当多的限制，唯恐外国人藉此取得绿卡。为了想拥有合法的婚姻，他们索性搬到西雅图定居。

年轻的克莱（海登•克里斯滕森 饰）拥有数十亿的身家，但父亲的逝世对他的影响太大，他也讨厌母亲莉莉丝（莉娜•奥琳 饰）变得爱管制他。克莱也一直回避让母亲知道他与母亲助手萨曼莎（杰西卡•阿尔芭 饰）恋爱这件事。越是反对，越是反抗，最终他还是与心爱的萨曼莎结婚了。　　克莱有严重的心脏病，心脏移植才能活命，无奈他的血型鲜有，待终于找到了适合的心脏时，他拒绝让世界级医生给他做手术，而是选择了自己的好朋友医生杰克（特伦斯•霍德华 饰），一个医疗事故缠身的医生。　　手术准备开始，克莱以为自己已被麻醉，令他恐慌的是自己的意识竟如此清晰，甚至能感受到身体被剖开，只是身体完全不能动弹。他听到了医生们的谈话，竟然听到了杰克与萨曼莎之间的阴谋，伤心欲绝的他想着自己将要离世了，却在这时候看到了自己的母亲，母亲告诉他不能就此死去……

　　费里尼拍摄了另一部自传性很强的电影《朱丽叶与魔鬼》，在这部电影里，费里尼过分追求求神秘主义的梦境空间，在影片里极尽详能的描述描写一个资产阶级的女人遭到丈夫的欺骗，精神迷惘，陷于离奇古怪的幻觉，最后终于清醒的故事。虽然费里尼和茱莉埃妲两人携手共度一生，而且费里尼也从来没有传出与其他女人的诽闻，但是我想所有对费里尼非常熟悉的影迷都不相信费里尼从没有出轨的行为。尤其在看了这部电影之后，因为在费里尼的电影中充分的表现出费里尼是一个性欲旺盛且对女人充满遐想的导演，他甚至在他的男人外遇只是把自己的性器官借给别人用一下罢了，并没有出卖自己的灵魂。或者这正是费里尼的迷人之处吧，他永远是神秘的，让人无法捉摸的。

　　戴着眼镜文质彬彬的青年，正游走各地收集好看的瓶盖。这一次他搭乘老旧的火车，来到某个海滩边。奇妙的缘分由此展开，眼镜在沙滩上见到一支巨大的红色茶壶，大概有3、4米高。他围着茶壶转了转，俄而从壶的底部伸出宛若章鱼的触角，又从前段探出寄居蟹一般的巨螯。虽然形容怪异恐怖，不过茶壶倒是十分友好。它抛出彩色皮球，和眼镜整整玩了一个下午。直到太阳西垂，游人散去，眼镜才意识到他的朋友没有主人。“也许是一个丢弃物吧”他如是想着，将茶壶带走，既想弄清它到底是什么，又想帮它找到真正的归属……　　本片由华裔漫画家陈志勇根据自己的同名绘本制作而成，并荣获2010年安锡动画影展最佳短片奖和2010年第83届奥斯卡最佳动画短片奖。

Bipedalism, or 'two-footed walking', is the story of a painter who grew up in an orphanage and only years later learns the circumstances of his father's disappearance and death. Childhood memories bring the main character back to the past he buys a house in the suburbs that used to belong to his family. In the basement, he finds his father's archives and scientific research documents on the hybridization of human race with related biological species. Studying the archive material, he unexpectedly finds evidence of efforts to renew the experiments on the remaining hybrid population. The painter then becomes a researcher, and consequently a victim. The basic idea of his father's research was to change, control and influence the process of human evolution - initially connected with eugenics theories of the period before World War II, and now being placed in a context of modern 'biotechnological' expectations by his former colleagues. The main character tries to recreate and realize his father's heritage, who was forced to cooperate with state terror organizations, using the results of his secret research. In a tragic manner, this information turns into the main character's reality, at first forcing him to reappraise his father's values and later driving him to madness.
